I love reading and I write as well, from time to time. I thought it would be amusing to talk to someone from a different land and learn different cultures, experience different cultures and so on. I’m also a huge Japanophile (if that is what it’s called) and find Japanese culture and history absolutely fascinating.
And I want to really talk. You know, talk talk. If you’re the type of person I am, you would have understood what I mean. If you haven’t understood this then well, imagine a virtual smile and shrug from my side. 🙂
I listen to all sorts of music. I can bop my head to Metallica or warble tunelessly with Michael Buble.
I am a huge fan of Neil Gaiman, Anne Rice and Terry Pratchett. Yes, a fantasy nerd.
I find it really hard to fit in with people. I have a lot of different friends and I wouldn’t say that I’m a misanthrope but sometimes I just feel so tired of and with everything. Feeling alone among friends? That kind of shit. I don’t even know what I’m getting at meh.
I am also into memes in a way that is wholly unhealty. The birthday cards I make for friends and family are invariably meme-based. I often react in memes in my head. Like right now I am totally feeling like Socially Awkward Penguin because I have no idea what to say here on out.
I wish to have pen-pals from foreign places.
And if you’re going to give one enthusiastic response and then just not reply or reply in a few measly sentences, don’t bother talking to me.

“Everybody has a secret world inside of them. I mean everybody. All of the people in the whole world, I mean everybody — no matter how dull and boring they are on the outside. Inside them they’ve all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds… Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands, maybe.”
“But I too hate long books: the better, the worse. If they’re bad they merely make me pant with the effort of holding them up for a few minutes. But if they’re good, I turn into a social moron for days, refusing to go out of my room, scowling and growling at interruptions, ignoring weddings and funerals, and making enemies out of friends. I still bear the scars of Middlemarch.”
― Vikram Seth, A Suitable Boy
